Despite the hardships some go through here just to put food on the table or to be able to send their children to school, there is a group here that volunteers time each week to educating others about the art of Horticulture and Bonsai of the Philippine Islands. Bonsai is something I have always been interested in but it is a true art and takes much time and patience. I have been to the Sm Supermall of Clark, Angeles City Pampanga Philippines 2 times now to view the Bonsai tress of this local offspring of the Philippine Bonsai Society (not the same group ) and have been astounded by how large the member base of the group is. After spending spending a year in the barrio it is clear to me how hard these family oriented people work to provide for their familys, and for many it is a day to day challenge. I have been trying to think of a way that I to can give and came to the conclusion to give what I know. And at this point it would be a website. Kapampangan Philippine Bonsai Society Is based on a tabless Free Template from one of the resources I have listed here on the website before. It is not completed due to a delay in content, but they do have a presence on the web now. And that is important. We have become friends and I look forward to this friendship to strengthen as we get to know each other. There will be a gallery of their work soon, so please check back often to see the growth.
